Ellen Veselenak is an up-and-coming award-winning bonsai artist as featured in The Journal of The American Bonsai Society. She is an owner of Michigan’s largest bonsai nursery, Green Witch Gardens, and vice president of the Ann Arbor Bonsai Society. Ellen is known for her work in collecting yamadori and creating ishizuki (rock plantings).
Jack Sustic, former Museum Curator of the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, U.S. National Arboretum in Washington DC, received formal bonsai training from masters in both the United States and Japan including bonsai master John Naka. Jack is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the World Bonsai Friendship Federation and President of the North American Bonsai Federation. Jack keeps busy maintaining his own collection.
